Hp Pavilion Dv6500z Notebook Help?
I recently purchased the HP Pavilion dv6500z CTO Notebook PC and it came with a lot of extra software that I did not need. I’ve uninstalled (or so I hope) most of the trial version software, but am still left with a lot of stuff that I have no clue what is for. By looking at the list of items found in the add/remove list on my computer, could someone tell me what I need to keep and what I don’t need.. or at least what each is used for?

If you use the modem, keep the HDaudio. The hauppauge thing is for your sound so keep that. same as conexant. Keep the atheros driver. Keep the MSXML for sure. Keep the MSCU. Everything else, dump. I do this stuff for a living…

you don’t have to uninstall any of these programs.. the manufacturer included it in your system because it’s a must and it will not do any harm to your laptop.
