Problems With Blank Screen In Sos 2004?

I’ve tried contacting AOP to resolve an issue with SOS 2004 only to find out they don’t support anything below 2006…
A customer of mine has installed this software on her computer numerous times and always gets the same results. After she logs in the program only displays a blank screen. I’ve tried all kinds of combinations of buttons, but no luck so far. I’ve gone into the add/remove program tool and removed every program I could find that the software said it would install and removed those. I then reinstalled and I’m having the exact same problems.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Which Position Is Higher – A Business Analyst Or Senior Help Desk Technician?

I accepted an offer as a senior helpdesk technician. I’m currently working as a business analyst and gave my boss my resignation letter (2 weeks notice). I will be starting my new job on the 13th. Some are sad that i’m leaving but everyone asks me the same question; Are they paying you more? is it closer to your house? Then the CFO told me his boss once told him, you should only leave your current job for 3 reasons, either the other company is paying you more, you’re being offered a higher position, or closer to your house.
The thing is i’m not sure if its a higher position? they are paying a lil bit more ( 5 G extra) but it’s an hour away from my house.
Did i make a bad decision?
One of the reasons why i accepted this offer is because i know alot about their software, i have supported their software with another company (one of the company’s partners).

Strange Voice Anomaly! Need An Explanation…?

Ok, so I’ve been in customer service for over 10 years, I currently supervise a technical support team. Something just happened and I can’t explain it. I was talking to a customer that had been escalated to me. Basically, I deal with computer monitoring software and the customer wanted to block their husband from adult websites.
Anyhow, I spoke to the husband and the wife, two very nice people. In any case, let me get to my point…
I was speaking to the husband, he apparently has sort of porn addiction and I was speaking to the wife so that I could block the content on the website. Well, here’s the strange part, when I was talking to the husband, he would have some sort of voice morphing problem (not done through digital means or digitization of his voice through a bad connection)… he would sound like a woman and then mid sentence, sometimes even mid-word, he’d sound like a man!
The voice change would happen several times per sentence! It was the friggin weirdest thing I’ve ever heard. Like some sort of identity problem.
I have no explanation for it other than it was a transvestite that was utterly confused by which voice to use. Anyone ever experience this?

Hp Pavilion Dv6500z Notebook Help?

I recently purchased the HP Pavilion dv6500z CTO Notebook PC and it came with a lot of extra software that I did not need. I’ve uninstalled (or so I hope) most of the trial version software, but am still left with a lot of stuff that I have no clue what is for. By looking at the list of items found in the add/remove list on my computer, could someone tell me what I need to keep and what I don’t need.. or at least what each is used for?
